The other week we drove up the A1 to Gateshead to take a few photos of the Angel of the North. Looking at the sky, we thought there might have been in for a good sunset, but there wasn't. The light was quite interesting though.
Here are one or two more:
That long narrow Angel photo looks superb when you click on it to enlarge it - the light picks out the details nicely.
