Full Flood - West Burton Waterfall

I took these pictures today at West Burton Falls. It has been raining all night and all day, so I thought I'd take out my new digital camera and see what I could see...

I don't know how I achieved this strange shot but I like it...

  1. Spectacular stuff! This is the plus side of getting so much rain. That second "mystery" shot reminds me of a Turner painting - Turner painted here quite often. Like your new site and the rainbow header.

  2. Hi Karen - arrived via Dominic.

Spectacular indeed. Second one looks like Charlton Heston is about to emerge as Moses any second. To me.
    Positively biblical.

  3. Thanks for having a look, afraid Titus that seems to be the only way at the moment, unless you go via my other Blog - Taken with a Twist, thanks Karen.

  5. As I have just viewed "Pandaemonium, about the firendship of Wordsworth and Coleridge, these shots are really bringing 19th Century English Romanticism to mind.
